2023 Community Chats!

April 26, 2023

Community Chat dates set for 2023!

Hello friends!

Community Chat's are back this summer and fall!! We’re proud of the KT Community Chat series and how much they accomplished the past two years! We got to hear from you, be in community, and understand the role KT has in our community. Get ready for more fun in 2023!

These gatherings help keep KT’s renewed commitment of consistent communication and more accessibility to all. These are relatively informal gatherings hosted on a monthly basis. Goals of the gathering will be a chance for us to share the latest news from KT, yet the bulk of the chats will be an opportunity for KT to hear feedback from you, our community. We want to receive your thoughts, questions, and even visions for the future! KT is a community based, driven, and run organization. Hearing your voice is very important to us.

If concerns are identified through these chats, we hope to demonstrate action and responsiveness, either by addressing the issues during the gathering or following up individually with folks. If it appears to be a broader concern, our team can devote a more strategic effort. There may be times when we are unable to solve every issue or implement every suggestion, but we commit to you now that we will listen and learn.

The full slate of scheduled 2023 Community Chats is listed below! These chats will be about an hour long and hosted at different times and locations for the remainder of the year. Please know KT will not be providing food or drink, but many chats are hosted at venue's that you can purchase a treat!

Questions? Drop us a line at info@kingdomtrails.org. We look forward to seeing you out there! But most of all listening and learning. We are so grateful for this shared community :)

-Abby, Lukas, and all your friends at KT.

From the Executive Director: Hi Everyone! Well, July has certainly brought the heat, but luckily here at KT there are plenty of shady trails to choose from. Speaking of trails...we are opening a new one this weekend: "Cheddar Slice" connects the bottom of Butter Tubs to the bottom of the Dashney Loop, creating a roughly 4-mile family-friendly loop and adding another way to connect the Moose Alley and Dashney zones. Connectivity has been a big focus this year, and there is more to come later this season. Thank you to all our generous Landowners, members and supporters. Have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Fourth of July!! -Georgia Celebrate the Fourth with Us! As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we invite you to celebrate with us throughout the month of July. If you're riding on Saturday, July 4, be sure to stop by our newly refreshed Welcome Center! We'll be serving complimentary cookies and lemonade throughout the day—a small way of celebrating the holiday and welcoming riders, families, and visitors to Kingdom Trails. Later in the month, join us at Lyndonville's Stars & Stripes Celebration on Saturday, July 18. The celebration begins with the 10:00 a.m. parade, followed by the festival, where you'll find the Kingdom Trails tent. Stop by to say hello, learn about our newest initiatives and chat with our staff about everything happening at Kingdom Trails this summer. The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and features food trucks, vendors, children's activities, live music, a Rotary BBQ, axe throwing, and more—making it a fun day for the whole family. We hope you'll stop by, say hello, and celebrate with us! CLICK HERE to read the full newsletter.
