KTA turns 25!
September 24, 2019
A letter from the KTA Board of Director's Chair

Friends,
On September 14, 1994, the Kingdom Trails Association's Articles of Incorporation were signed by the originating Board of Directors - Doug Kitchel, Jim O’Rielly, John Worth, Marilyn Pastore, Jake Wheeler, Stan Swaim, Dixi Nohl, Howard Crawford and Bruce Heinrich. Nine thoughtful citizens rolled up their sleeves on that day and created this incredible community asset that has benefited so many.
For 25 years now the center of our story has been the people along the way-the landowners, volunteers, board members, staff, businesses, partner organizations and members who have contributed to who we are and what we do today. We've all heard the familiar quote "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed it is the only thing that ever has". This is the legacy of you all, whether you picked up a shovel, volunteered at an event, sat through long board meetings, donated the use land, time or talents or served as an ambassador to the KT community. Thank you all for what you do, it has made all the difference.
Happy Birthday and Happy Trails,
Matt

From the Executive Director: Hi Everyone! Well, July has certainly brought the heat, but luckily here at KT there are plenty of shady trails to choose from. Speaking of trails...we are opening a new one this weekend: "Cheddar Slice" connects the bottom of Butter Tubs to the bottom of the Dashney Loop, creating a roughly 4-mile family-friendly loop and adding another way to connect the Moose Alley and Dashney zones. Connectivity has been a big focus this year, and there is more to come later this season. Thank you to all our generous Landowners, members and supporters. Have a wonderful weekend and a very Happy Fourth of July!! -Georgia Celebrate the Fourth with Us!
