Trail Updates

It's hard to believe but technically summer isn't even here yet! Although we would've liked more snow and precipitation this winter, the long dry spring did give our early season skeleton crew and the many, many volunteers that donated their time, a good long period to get the trails cleared for opening. We are so grateful for the numerous volunteers that have helped out on the trails for a variety of trail projects, from prepping for opening to shaping the Dashney Loop switchbacks, and three days each of 14 BMA students out installing one of the new trails!
May trail projects completed:
- Full system season opening maintenance work; drainage improvements, blowdown clearing, benching and berm reshaping
- New School hardening & realignment
As of now, we are super excited to be up and running with our full Trail Crew of 10, so we can really start to "dig" in on a few of this summer's big projects that will include:
- 2 new trails (currently in progress) that will be singletrack connections to get more trail users off the roads.
- The final phase of the Moose Haven Connection which will allow for an epic loop with virtually no road riding!
